About Me
I am 20 years old and soon to begin my BAHons Illustration degree at Falmouth university. I am from Dorset and love walking, camping, swimming along with anything crafty! I’m a responsible and trustworthy person, but I also love to have fun and be creative - I have 2 older brothers but I’ve always wanted to have a younger sibling myself as I find that children’s imagination is so inspiring!
My Experience
In the past I have had experience working as a young leader for my local cubs (scouts organisation) group, which I loved and I was in charge of organising activities/games for the children. Since September of 2023 I have spent a total of 6 months in northern Italy working as an au pair for 3 young boys of the ages 1, 3 and 8. I have lots of experience changing nappies, bathing and dressing children, playing (imaginary, roleplay and board/card games) and crafting too. I also spent 3 months in London au pairing for a 10 year old girl. The parents had very intense work schedules and so on a couple of occasions I was the primary caregiver for a week, cooking all of her meals and bringing her to/from school. I really enjoy cooking! These experiences have been so special and transformative for me and I am very eager to start my next chapter of childcare experience.
My Qualifications
I have not received any formal training in childcare, the experience I’ve gained is outlined above and this is the extent of my qualifications within the field. I completed first aid training when I was a teenager and know how to do CPR and the recovery position well. I am very open to completing more training if this is something you require.
My Availability
As I will be studying at university my availability will most likely be limited to the evenings during the week, with more flexibility at the weekends for daytime babysitting.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
I am very flexible with fees as I am just looking for something to subsidise the extra costs of uni that will not be covered by my maintenance loan!
