Compassionate Nanny Needed for Developmental Play and Care

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nanny with a big heart for our lovely daughter, Eve, who requires a high level of care and attention. She was born with a rare genetic syndrome and currently has an NG tube for feeding. Otherwise, she does not have any special needs that complicate her care beyond being delayed in milestones. We are looking for someone long-term who can provide consistent care and support.

Responsibilities:

Supervision: Ensure Eve is closely monitored, especially between feeds due to her severe reflux.
Developmental Activities: Engage Eve in suggested physiotherapy and developmental play to keep her stimulated and happy.
Communication: Be attuned to Eve’s communication and needs, responding with patience and kindness. Keep parents up to date on her progress.
Light Cleaning: While the primary focus is on Eve, any assistance with light cleaning during your time here would be greatly appreciated.
Schedule:

Monday: 3-4 hours in the morning
Wednesday: 3-4 hours in the morning
Tuesday: 3-4 hours in the afternoon
Thursday: 3-4 hours in the afternoon
Requirements:

Experience: Previous experience with infants and a background in child development or special needs care is highly preferred.
Nurturing Attitude: Patience, kindness, and a nurturing attitude are essential.
Attentiveness: Ability to remain attentive and responsive to Eve’s needs.
Honesty and Reliability: Strong sense of honesty and reliability.
Passionate about Childcare: Someone who knows they will be making a big difference in a little human's life and is passionate about childcare.
Long-term Commitment: Willingness to commit to a long-term position.
