My Experience

I am a kind, enthusiastic and motivated SEND LSA I have a passion for supporting children with all aspects of their school life. I had been a teacher in India for 5 years supporting pupils aged 3-7years of various abilities and special needs. I recently been working at Alec Reed Academy and Montpelier Primary school supporting send pupils.


· During my time as Teacher in India, Anju Identified clear learning objectives and various teaching strategies to ensure all learners make progress under her direction. I developed and maintained positive, impactful relationships with students to facilitate improved learning outcomes. Due to the nature of behaviour at her school in india; I am used to students who lash out physically and verbally. In the past I supported a ks2 student from self-harming and other pupils who didn’t have a stable home and suffered from mental health issues.


· As a teacher I observed students’ progress through assessments and offered more scaffolded work to students needing more one-on-one support. Worked with the Phase lead to monitor class schedules and offer booster sessions to pupils on an intervention plan. I found that she made particular gains with send children due to her gentle approach.




· As a TA, I am confident in organizing classrooms and resources and creating displays to encourage positive learning environments. I am responsible for creating engaging teaching environment to encourage pupils with all levels of learning to achieve their optimal academic results. I had assisted teachers with lesson preparation by getting materials ready and setting up equipment in the most effective manner to aid learning. I worked in nursery as well .



· Safeguarding training complete. She has Completed Level 2 course in undergrad children and young people’s mental health . Available Full time.
