Kia ora (hello!) I’m Isabella. I was born and raised in beautiful Aotearoa, New Zealand. I am finishing my psychology degree and planning a big move to the United Kingdom, with my arrival date being the 1st of January 2025. My childcare experience includes years of teaching children ages five months to five years old. I firmly believe in child-led learning, following your child's interests to develop their growing knowledge about the world. My current studies in Psychology have included papers on early years development, educational psychology, and everything related to brain and behaviour and I have experience working with diverse learners. I am always there to support with a helping hand, whether tidying up or completing household chores. I am first aid trained (can provide certification) in infant, child and adult first aid. I believe my positive, warm, bubbly and patient personality would be a great fit for any family looking for an inclusive, experienced and fun nanny who can share and teach phrases from the beautiful language of te reo maori, the native language of New Zealand.
My Experience
I have two years of experience working in the Early Childhood sector in New Zealand as both a relieving teacher and a permanent teacher for ages ranging from infants to preschool. My nannying experience includes working with infants and toddlers to support mum, engaging the children in stimulating learning experiences, tidying up around the house and completing chores, and the occasional overnight. I have references available for all childcare experience as requested.
My Qualifications
I am first aid trained, certified in child protection and advocacy, and have a bachelor's degree in Psychology, including papers in child development, educational psychology, and brain and behaviour.
