Hello, my name is Calla and I have recently graduated from the University of Bristol with a master's degree in Applied Neuropsychology. I live in the Clifton area of Bristol and my interests include psychology, studying the Korean language and reading.
My Experience
I have experience working as a SEN teaching assistant in a school for children with autism. Whilst I have worked with children of all ages, I primarily work with children aged 4 to 8, helping to meet their educational, social and toileting needs. I will be progressing to an LSA role in October. As part of my work, I engage with children in various sport-based and arts and crafts activities as well as typical classroom tasks such as reading and writing. Furthermore, I have informal experience of caring for my younger nieces and nephews. I enjoy partaking in activities such as baking, camping, board games/video games and swimming with them, as well as ensuring that their basic needs are met.
My Qualifications
I hold a master's degree in Applied Neuropsychology at distinction level, as well as a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a first class.
