About Me

My name is Holly and I live in the Tower Hill area of Kirkby with my partner, two children, aged 5 and 3, a cat and a dog. My eldest is attending school but we also have a small homeschool routine in which both children are offered activities relevant to their developmental stages, focusing on their needs and interests.

I offer a home from home environment with two play spaces where children are free to choose from the variety on offer, as well as an outdoor space with swings, a small trampoline, water play areas and a small area for planting and nature learning in the warmer months.

Saints Peter and Paul Primary School is on our doorstep and we are also near to Ravenscroft and Eastcroft Primary Schools.

Children in my care will be offered independence in routines such as dressing and eating, where appropriate, including helping to prepare meals and work spaces, and caring for the pets (under appropriate supervision).

Our daily routine will include morning and afternoon movement (inc. garden time, yoga, dancing and music), shelf work (usually close-ended activities of their choice), open-ended play (such as Small World and Role Play) and quiet time (including stories, colouring, conversation and sleep for those who need it). We will also do activities such as crafts and baking, as well as visiting the park and library, throughout the week.
