My Summary
About Me
My name is Cerys and I am an enthusiastic and dedicated childcare provider currently completing a Level 3 Nursery Apprenticeship, with expected qualification in December 2024.
With one year of hands-on experience, I have developed a strong foundation in providing care for children and young people, including specialised care for children with additional needs. In my year of experience, I have had the privilege of working closely with families and children ages 6 months to 18 years including those with additional needs such as autism spectrum disorder as well as a range of other physical and mental disabilities. This experience has equipped me with valuable insights and skills to provide attentive and compassionate care, fit to a child’s unique needs and preferences.
why choose me?
I am committed to creating a nurturing, fun and safe environment where every child feels safe, valued, and supported and every parent can rest assured that their child is in safe hands.
I prioritise building strong relationships with both children and parents, ensuring clear communication and understanding to achieve the most positive outcomes.
My goal is to work closely with families to understand their child's unique needs and provide personalised care that supports their growth and happiness. If you are looking for a reliable, compassionate, and flexible babysitter who can provide exceptional care for your children, I would be honoured to be part of your family’s journey. Please feel free to contact me
to discuss how I can best support your family's needs.
My Experience
My experience spans across various settings, from nursery environments to working as an activity leader for a local charity. In this role, I support children and young people with physical and mental disabilities, helping them access the community, socialize, and learn essential life skills. My focus is always on creating a safe, fun and nurturing environment where every child and family feels valued and supported.
In my current apprenticeship, I have gained extensive experience in setting up educational and fun activities tailored to each child's needs and interests. My approach emphasises promoting learning, social interaction, and emotional well-being through engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
