Hi! My name is Lexie, I am 21 and am looking to continue my nannying career. I have worked previously with children in a nursery setting as well as doing private nannying and travelling all over the world as a nanny! For the past year I have been travelling, volunteering and working abroad in Australia, Greece, Canary Islands!
I have also worked with adults and children with disabilities and have a deep understand of special needs, in addition to being a carer for my cousin who has Charge Syndrome.
I love spending my time with little ones and creating a happy and fun atmosphere for them to learn and grow in:)
My Experience
For the 2024 summer season, I was offered the incredible position as a nanny in Corfu where I had the chance to care for babies and children in 5* hotels, luxury villas and private yachts. Apart from the stunning surroundings, part of our duties involved carefully selecting toys suitable for each child and creating a ‘treasure chest’ tailored to each individual to ensure they had the most enjoyable holiday experience. I have developed a strong set of skills in providing personalised care and my deep understanding of babies and their needs, coupled with my caring nature, allows me to create a nurturing and safe environment for those under my supervision.
In my capacity at an emergency nanny agency, I have had the privilege of caring for a wide range of individuals, from newborns to teenagers, demonstrating my adaptability and versatility in the field of childcare. My experience working with special needs children and adults has equipped me with the skills to provide compassionate care to a diverse group of individuals. Moreover, serving as a caregiver for my cousin with Charge Syndrome has deepened my sense of empathy and commitment to those requiring special attention.
