I have worked in an SEN school for 6 years and worked for the past 7 years with a child whom had many complex needs as well as medical needs I have always worked in the care sector and the majority of this with children I believe everyone has a right to happiness laughter and joy it’s all about ability and adapting activities for all to be able to enjoy
My Experience
SEN experienced I started my working life at a Residential Hime for the elderly I was there for two year before starting work in a children nursery I worked there for 10 years and worked my way upto deputy manager I worked here with a a child whom had complex needs I then when to work in a SEN school where I started offering respite care I was at the school for 6 years I then worked for mencap so for 6 months with adults before starting full time working with a child with severe complex needs where I stayed until sadly the child passed I worked with the child for 7 years full time and his full life providing respite care in his early years so all of his life 14 years
My Qualifications
I have attended several courses linked to SEN which can be viewed in my portfolio on request I also reference letter from a lead Community Nurse and previous employers
