I am 35 years of age and live in a rural village with my 14 year old daughter, 12 year old son, long-term partner and his 16 year old daughter. Our lively household also includes 2 dogs, a car and a budgie.
I am an enthusiastic, dedicated, open and honest individual, with good values and morals. I also have a postive attitude and enjoy a challenge. I belive that learning never ends and I love studying, learning new skills and educating others.
When it comes to childcare, I can bring and element of fun and learning, or simply be there to babysit and watch over the general welfare of your child. I have an upbeat, bubbly personality. I love singing and dancing, and I'm not embarrassed to be a little silly in order to join a child in their world. However, I am also extremely adaptable to situations and know when to be serious and bring calmness.

My Experience
Over the years I have worked in retail, early years/primary education and care (elderly and adults with learning and physical disabilities), which shows my vast range of people skills, diversity and inclusion.
Furthermore, I have recently completed full-time university, where I have been awarded Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Counselling, Upper Second-class Honours (2.1). University has provided me with a number of personal and professional skills and attributes. I have gained knowledge of a range of psychological concepts, mental health issues, abuse, trauma, and mental and emotional development from infancy to end-of-life.
I babysat from around the age of 14-15 and for the last 14 years I have raised 2 children with very different wants, needs and abilities. One is gifted/talented and the other has special educational needs, dyslexia and sensory processing disorder.
