Hi I’m Carys I have 3 children a 24 year old and 18 year old and my beautiful rainbow toddler Arabella. I didn’t know how hard it was to write something about myself until I was faced with about me! So I am 42 this month I don’t work and I’m a single parent my daughter is my absolute world I had a little girl that died in 2010 and Arabella has mended a world of pain! She has quite a few developmental problems and is behind on everything other than fine motors which she excels at she is under portage and has been referred to community paediatricians we have an appointment with dr Mallya in March 25 it has been suggested that Arabella is autistic! She struggles with basic communication so isn’t able to ask for a drink or something to eat and in all fairness I don’t think she actually knows she is
The past few weeks she has started to learn her colours it has become a bit of an obsession and she knows them all! She is also able to say the names of animals if shown them not just your basic farm animals she knows the difference between a shark and dolphin or that if shown octopus turtle fish zebra giraffe etc but she isn’t able to associate the word mum with me she is a pleasure to have around and each day is full of surprises and progress
I feel because it’s just us two at home I’m holding her back socially I do take her to toddler classes swimming and socialise her with other toddlers but I feel she would benefit more from being away from me and the social aspect of being in a child minding setting.
My Requirements
Im looking for someone who accepts the two year funding
That has sen training or an understanding off it
I can work around your availability
I don’t want full time and possibly not the full 15 hours just a few hours a week to give her the independence and social stability she needs
I’d prefer a smaller setting but isn’t a must
I have ticked morning and afternoon Monday - Friday but that isn’t what I’m looking for it’s any of those days and any time that you are available I’m after a reduced time table that suits both of us
