About Me

Hi there, my name is Brooklyn and I am originally from Houston, Texas. While working on my sailing captains license in the Caribbean, I met my now husband who is from Chipping Campden. We now live in Chertsey, Surrey. Before pursuing my captains license, I was a full time nanny for a multitude of families for over 7 years in multiple states as I have lived in Texas, New Mexico and Colorado before moving to the UK. Sailing is a hobby for me, but child care is my passion. I find true joy and fulfilment in participating in the upbringing of little ones and helping to support their parents where it is needed. My own personal nanny was a massive part of my childhood and I remember her as not only a care giver but as a teacher, a part of our family and as a dear friend to me. That is what I want to add to your family. My favourite activities are hiking, camping, writing and reading, all of which I would love to share with your babies. I also enjoy arts, crafts and cooking. I am looking to start a full time position around the end of October 2024, as my husband and I will be in the states for the end of September/beginning of October with my family. Note*** : I will not have a car until next year, so I'm ideally looking to work with a family with small children or children that can be picked up/dropped off from school via train or within walking distance!
