About Me

I am a primary school teacher with over a decade of experience teaching globally, most recently in the UK. I have chosen to stay home with my two sons while they are young, and am eager to share our adventures with other children as well! I speak exclusively to my children in Spanish - and our home is filled daily with Spanish music, stories, and conversation. We spend our days on local outings and outdoor exploration, and I am passionate about providing children with the 'grace and space' to explore, discover, and experience their world. We eat vegetarian meals at home, and have a lovely covered garden space complete with a mud-kitchen, ride on toys, sand play, and plenty of outdoor games.

My Experience

I received my BA in Elementary Education in Chicago, USA. I taught International Baccalaureate in Indonesia - a child-centered, inquiry-based learning programme. I participated in a start-up nursery in Indonesia, and taught Year 1 in both Costa Rica and Chicago. In London I have primarily taught Reception class. I have extensive experience addressing the unique needs of individual children in a learning environment. My teaching and child-care experience has primary been in child-led, activity-based environments.

My Qualifications

I am recently OFSTED registered. I hold a BA in Elementary Education, a MA in International Relations. I hold a certificate in Merton's Childcare Providers Workshop, and a certificate in First-Aide Training.

My Availability

I am available between 8 am and 6 pm Mondays through Fridays.
