Hello. My name is Jennifer. I am a 24-year-old American living in London, under my Irish passport.
I saw this job posting and jumped with glee at the possibility of working with an individual with Down syndrome. I have spent more than most of my life helping assist my little sister with Down’s syndrome and know first hand how incredibly important it is to give them the opportunity to learn in the classroom among their peers.
I have worked in child care since I was 13 and have been an assistant teacher and daycare instructor in the past. I’ve worked with all ages and feel very confident in my ability to connect with the children I work with and assist them in the areas they need, while also allowing them to explore their own abilities.
