My Requirements

Our twin girls are 16 weeks old so their personalities are still forming. They are very happy, smiley babies who love to play. They love songs and silly faces as well as bouncing and being held in the air. They are enjoying black and white sensory books and enjoy being read to as well as watching people and looking out the window. Their motor skills are developing and they are enjoying toys with different textures more and more.

We are interested, curious, down to earth people who love to be outside, like exploring new places, enjoy going to the cinema and the theatre as well as reading and getting stuck into the latest TV show. We are both social people with close families and friends. As such, we want our children to be sociable, enjoy interacting with others, be inquisitive, enjoy being out and about and exploring, be active and join in with things while also being kind and polite to others. It is also really important to us that the twins have a close relationship with each while also being treated as individuals. They do not have to do or be interested in the same things all the time and we want to encourage them to do their own thing, if they want to.

We are looking for a nanny that is easy going, calm in a crisis, confident in looking after twins, able to make decisions quickly and safely, have a good sense of humour, to be considerate, to be able to feel comfortable in our home but also give us our space and to be kind and loving to the children. They will need to be able to deliver any feedback or information about the children in a considerate way. The nanny can have access to the car and we encourage them to take the twins out to do different things which we will support with in finding classes and helping to book any that are interesting.

We are looking for someone to look after the twins with utmost care and safety while also supporting their development. We would expect them to stick to our routine and incorporate play, engagement, reading, games, creativity etc into their time with the twins. In addition, we would want their nanny to take them out and about to experience the world, do new things and meet new people. Sometimes these excursions will be undertaken with Ysobel. We would like them to do all the cooking for the twins and prepare other meals for them to put in the freezer or for dinner that day, for example. We would like the nanny to do all the laundry and keep the twins' room and play area tidy and clean. We would expect them to notify us of any injuries or accidents straight away and seek advice on how to proceed if not sure. We would expect them to be first aid trained. We would also expect the nanny to tell us if they think the twins need anything to support their development or if they are ready to do something differently using their wealth of knowledge learned during their training.
