My Experience

I have looked after children my whole life. As well as raising 2 younger brothers, I worked for a number of years as a paddleboard instructor working at a summer scheme for children aged 5-13 years old. This job involved looking after children both in a park and on the sea — I had to manage risks, perform basic first aid, encourage children to try new things, keep them calm and happy when they got cold or tired, and maintain a fun, learning environment. Additionally, I have worked as a freelance babysitter and a tutor for GCSE English and for primary school work.

My Qualifications

A-Levels at grades A*, A*, and A
A certification in Paediatric First Aid
Basic knowledge of British Sign Language

My Availability

I am a student in university, so I am unavailable during the day on week days. I can care for children in the late afternoon, evenings, and weekends. Aside from the times I am in classes, my availability is flexible.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £20.00 per hour

My rates are set per hour, but I would require compensation for additional costs, for example if I took a child out for the day and purchased food. However, I will take full responsibility for any damages incurred to my property while working with your children, unless there is very clear malicious intent.
