Position filled. Not currently looking for work.
I'm a 38 year old nanny. I have been working as a nanny for over 12 years. I was working for a lovely family in London for 5 years before I had my own little boy in August 2022. I am currently on maternity leave. Sadly, it is not going to be possible for me to go back to my previous job due to the very long hours combined with the commuting time.
I am hoping to find a family who is happy for me to bring my son with me.
I find it such a rewarding job especially when the children are young and you see them learning and growing everyday. I am fun, loving, energetic and extremely caring, while at the same time I can be very firm in terms of discipline as and when it is needed. I believe consistency is key when it comes to bringing up children, It is very important to me that the parents are on the same level as me when it comes to our approach to discipline.
I enjoy doing a variety of activities with children, whether that be running around in the garden/park, going swimming with them, taking them to music/dance classes/museums or doing some arts and crafts, baking, role play, playing with them at home etc. I am most definitely not one who likes to let children watch a lot of television.
My Experience
I have over 12 years experience of nannying.
I have worked for families with children varying in ages from newborns up to 14years old. I am used to looking after multiple children, I have worked for families with four children and also nanny shared (worked for two families) where I had four children.
I have experience of looking after a girl who had global developmental delay.
I also have experience of looking after two different sets of twins.
My Qualifications
I am educated to university level, with a Bsc (hons)
I used to be ofsted registered until my previous family no longer required me to. I would register again if needed.
I have done many first aid courses in the past and am happy to do another one to update.
My Availability
I am available to start immediately.
I am ideally looking for 2/3days. I can be fairly flexible on days/hrs. Or potentially 5days but part time hours. I would like to have at least one morning free per week to take my son to a class on our own, we're currently enjoying swimming lessons.
I am looking for a family with one child or possibly two children who are happy for me to bring my son along and give your little one/s a new friend to play with.
Or I would also consider taking a job of 2or 3 full days where I came alone and put my son into nursery on those days.

My Fees
- Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
I would be charging a reduced rate of £14gross per hour as I will be bringing my son with me.

- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Sackville School
