My Summary
About Me
I am a married mother of 3 boys, I live in a small town in North Lanarkshire called Viewpark and I love being a part of my community. I am creative, arty and energetic. The great part about childcare is getting to play and have fun everyday with the little ones I care for.
My Experience
I have been working in childcare for over 14 years. I began as a childminder, moved on to working in private and local authority nurseries. I have worked in after school care and volunteered as a classroom assisitant at my childrens school. I have even workedas family support in a prison.
My Qualifications
I have studied my HNC, BA hons and Masters in childhood studies and education. I also have experience running my own outdoor nursery. I am fully trained in first aid and food hygiene. My child protection training is updated every year. I am also trained in Froebel childhood practice and have expereince working in a montessori nursery. I have also had some nature school training and experience with forest school.
