About Me
Hello! My name is Tara, and I am a University of Edinburgh Alumni. I left Edinburgh in 2020 but am now very excited to be back for a few months and am looking for some babysitting and tutoring work.
My degree was in Biological Sciences, and then I went on to do Embryology at a Fertility clinic- it was such a privilege helping parents achieve their dream family!
In my spare time, I love to sing and do musical theatre. I have been in many productions over the years, including 'Grease', 'Sister Act', and 'The Sound of Music'...so if music is of any interest to your child we can definitely incorporate that!
My Experience
I have done plenty of babysitting over the years, and love interacting with kids at every opportunity! I have experience in tutoring as well, and would be happy to help with school work from any age. My area of specialty is Biology and Chemistry.
My Qualifications
Whilst I don't have any formal childcare qualifications, I have been babysitting for over a decade and am very comfortable working with children. I have also tutored children from a variety of different age groups.
My Availability
I am fairly flexible and happy to try and work around your schedule! I am open to occasional overnights and weekend work.
I understand that choosing a babysitter can be difficult, so I am more than happy to meet for a coffee/walk beforehand so we can get to know each other better.
