About Me
Start Date: October 2024
Location: Buckinghamshire, HP22
Position details: Residential or Live Out
Nanny type: Sole Charge
Details of Children: Boy born in April 2023
Working Hours: 60 hours a week (or 48 hrs/wk with child in nursery part time)
We are a friendly family with two parents who are working professionals and a son who will be 18 months old in October. We are looking for a full-time nanny from mid-October who will keep our son safe, and make his days fun, stimulating and structured. A car driver is essential. We have a regular cleaner and no pets.
We live in a lovely family home just outside one of the villages between Aylesbury and Leighton Buzzard. Our location gives us all of the benefits of living in the countryside, but we are only a short drive to nearby towns and villages with excellent transport links and numerous classes and other activities. Leighton Buzzard has a regular 30-minute train into London. We have some lovely local pubs, cafes, restaurants, walks and other countryside activities nearby.
We can offer a residential or live out position. If residential, the nanny will have their own bedroom and bathroom on a separate floor to the rest of the family.
Our current nanny has written the below about us and would be happy to speak to any potential candidates.
“H and S are the most welcoming and friendly employers and because of this I instantly felt comfortable living in their home. I appreciate that the job is long hours but the days go so quickly and they can also be flexible for an early finish when their jobs allow.
E is one of the happiest little boys I have ever looked after - he is always smiling and laughing. His sense of humour is also really starting to blossom.
I am more than happy to chat to any potential nannies for E.”
My Requirements

Your responsibilities would include his day-to-day care, playing with him, preparing healthy food for him, taking him to local activities (classes, swimming, library, the park, soft play, Whipsnade Zoo etc) and play groups and taking charge of household responsibilities to the extent they are associated with his care: laundry, personal care (including bath-time), keeping rooms tidy etc.
We are looking for an individual who:
• Is caring, reliable, trustworthy and loves looking after children

• Is interested in the development of children & who would enjoy watching our son learn
• Has a clean driver’s licence and is happy to drive our son to classes
