About Me
I work alongside my wife who is also a registered childminder. We are excited to have recently re-opened after taking a break after our youngest child was born. We have five children ourselves aged 3, 16, 20. 23 & 24 and are expecting our first Grandchild at the end of this year.
My Experience
I have recently stopped working as a nursery & reception teacher, prior to this my experience includes working in a pre-school, working as a behaviour mentor in a school for children with additional needs and supporting refugee & asylum seeker children and their families.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 & 4 Children & Young People's workforce, CACHE Level 2 Mental Health, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding Level 3 and many short courses related to additional needs and supporting children's behaviour.
My Availability
Having recently re-opened we have quite a lot of availability.
We have spaces in our breakfast club for school drop off's to Cliftonville Primary School and spaces afterschool for collection from Drapers Mills.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.50 per hour
- Childminding from £6.25 per hour
£6.25 per hour.
£5.50 per hour for over 5's.
£7.50 per hour unsociable hours.
£28 school holiday club day rate (over 5's).
£15 per day for afterschool care or breakfast club which includes a school pick up/drop off and breakfast or dinner.

Matthew cared for my two children for 3 years until we sadly moved away. My boys were 6 months & 7 years when they started with Matthew. We loved everything about the setting and always felt included. The boys were always talking about the fun activities they got up to with their friends and we loved seeing the photos Matthew would send most days. The home setting is cosy and set up with everything the children could want, they played outdoors a lot and went on lots of trips out. We can't thank you enough for the care you've given our boys.
