Hello, my name is Alexandra (but I go by Alex). I am a qualified Philosophy, Ethics and Religious Studies school teacher. I have been teaching for 6 years.
I am available for private tutoring, childminding (including after school pickups,) homework support. I am also always happy to lend an ear and a break for parents/ guardians who are in need of rest bite and advice regarding the English secondary school schooling system- it is not an easy arena to navigate.
I would describe myself as hardworking, passionate about teaching and learning, patient and reliable. I also pride myself on building a rapport with children (especially those who tend to be very quiet and shy)
My hobbies and interests include reading, cultivating playlists for friends (music is very much a love language) and going for walks
