I am an OFSTED registered childminder in Biggleswade. I live at home with my Husband, daughter and friendly Labrador.
Our home is warm, welcoming and loving. It is a short walk from the train station and we are a non-smoking home.
My setting is relaxed and homely with the freedom to explore. I am passionate about outdoor play and the children have free access to my secure, rear garden. I live a short walk from the town centre and a large park with groups and outings offered.
I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage document and have children’s development and safety at the forefront of everything I do.
My Experience
I worked as a secondary school teacher since 2019 and have experience in SEND
I completed a 1 year foundation degree from Sheffield Hallam University in Working with Children, Young People and Families.
I have my own daughter giving me hands on experience in the highs and lows of motherhood!
My Qualifications
- OFSTED Registered
- Level 3 award in preparing to work in home based childcare (Childminding Qualification)
- Paediatric Fire Aid (expires 2027)
- Level 2 Food Hygiene
- Level 3 Safeguarding Children
- PACEY Registered (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years)
-Full driving license
- Own car with business insurance cover and age appropriate car seats
- Public Liability Insurance
