About Me
I am a PhD student studying Medical Science at the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences unit. I am from New Zealand and have been living in England for a year now. Aside from study and work, I love to play tennis, read, go on walks, and explore all that Cambridge has to offer!
My Experience
I have had ample experience working with children of all ages. Since I was 17, I have been babysitting for a number of families in my area, including children from two months old to teenagers up to 17 years of age. I have also been a dance and gymnastics teacher for a similar amount of time for children from 3 years old, to professional dancers in teenage and adulthood.
My PhD involves work with vulnerable patient groups, so I have been police vetted, and have Occupational Health and DBS checks, and honorary NHS status (which requires all important vaccinations and important medical training like first aid).
My Qualifications
I have a bachelors degree in Psychology with first class honours from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. I am currently working towards a PhD in Medical Science.
I also have a teaching qualification for ballet and contemporary dance.
My Availability
I would be happy to be flexible around your needs and am free most evenings and weekends.
