About Me
We are a family of five, with three boys aged 8, 9 and 11. We are looking for an experienced nanny to look after our eldest, Thomas, after school and/or weekends. Thomas has special needs (autism and ADHD diagnosis) and is a caring, active and energetic boy, who enjoys being outdoors, listening to music, watching videos and cooking. Thomas is verbal and able bodied. He has all basic self-care skills (i.e. dresses himself, self-feeds, brushes teeth). Thomas has some meltdowns and occasionally engages in self-injurious behaviour but is not agressive towards other people. Your work will involve going out with Thomas, and helping him develop his skills, communication and understanding of world (e.g. road safety, shopping). We don't expect you do carry out any housework.
