My Requirements

We are looking a nanny / housekeeper 30-35 hr p/w. Midday until 7pm (with flexibility for the right person). We are based in North Finchley (Woodside Park).

We have a nearly three year old daughter and we are expecting our second child in May. We are looking for someone that can come to our house in the day and do some light housework / run a few errands (e.g., picking up groceries, preparing meals, household organisation) and then at 3pm pick up our daughter from nursery (she currently attends a nursery within walking distance, but from September next year will be a short drive away - we have a car that you can be insured on, but you will need a driver's license).

After 3pm, we're looking for someone that can focus on caring for our daughter. In particular, we're looking for someone willing to play outside, light educational activities, reading stories, playing games, coming up with fun activities until bedtime when mum will take over.

When the baby is born, the role will be the same, but may include a little child care for baby to give me (mum) the occasional break!

My husband and I both work full time and my husband is away a lot for work, so we're hoping to find the right person to help our lives run a little more smoothly and give us some help as our family expands. We are a loving, caring family who have been back in London for a year after a few years spent in the US. While in US we had one nanny for our daughter who we loved. Since being back in the UK we have had one nanny who we have also loved, but sadly she is moving back home / out of London.

Ideally, we are looking for a French speaker who can increasingly speak French to our daughter (Dad's side of the family are French). However, this is not essential.

Other duties will include having fun and giving cuddles! :)
