My Summary

My Experience

I have worked since the age of 14, yet have little professional experience in this particular industry. I have taken care of 'family friends' children for many years as someone they can trust, overnight and during the day, entertaining, educating, and preparing food for their children. I have also taken care of a dog for three weeks at a time, annually, for many years, where I took care of his every need, as though he was my own. I would love to gain experience in professional and regular care for a child/children, and feel as though I have aided their development, through emotional or academic support for instance. I also would feel fulfilled at the idea of a family knowing they can rely on me for this, and to be there in times of need.

My Qualifications

9 GCSE qualifications: Grade 8 in both English Language and English Literature, Grade 7 in Geography, History, and Mathematics, Grade 6 in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and a Level 2 Merit in Sport Science. A Level results included Sociology (Grade A), Geography (Grade B), and English Language (Grade B). Current undergraduate degree: Media, Communication and Cultural Studies BA Honours, with a three year minimum duration.

My Availability

I am a student where I am required to attend university three days a week, yet one of these is for two hours, for instance. Apart from six sessions of attendance at university a week, I am flexible. I also choose to live in Newcastle out of term times so I am available during school holidays.
