About Me
I am a mature lady which much experience in childcare and SEN needs. I have full DBS clearance. I am a patient and caring person and love to work with children and adults with special needs. I have a full driving licence and my own car. I have raised my children in Godalming over the past 30 years, and am familiar with the area. I am sociable, outgoing and reliable. In my past career, I worked for the BBC, and as a Yoga teacher.
My Experience
I have been a full time carer and support worker for adults and children for the past 8 years. I have worked for 5 years in one to one care of a young man with Downs Syndrome and Autism. I have also worked with Epilepsy and complex health needs in a care setting. I was a full time mum for many years and then qualified with a BA and Ma from Kings College London. I have recently moved to Hindhead from Godalming and am looking for work in this area.
My Qualifications
I have two degrees and several NVQ qualifications.
My Availability
I am flexible and open to variable hours all week. I am not looking for full time work, but am happy to consider up to 30 hours a week. I am also available for school runs
