My Summary

My Experience

Last summer I babysat a 12 year old, 5 year old and 9month old baby for around 12 hours a week. I found I was able to balance working with kids of varying ages very well.

As well as this in March 2022 and 2023 I travelled to Tignes and Morzine, nannying the kids of 3 families for a week. In total there were seven kids which I looked after by myself for 3 days when another nanny had to go home. My responsibilities included picking the kids up from ski school , preparing their lunch as well as getting them showered and dressed for dinner with their parents- and at times getting all children dropped off to meet their parents via a ski lift or bus. I found this job very rewarding and it taught me a range of skills I now believe will be beneficial to any childminding or nannying jobs I take on in the future.

My Qualifications

Although I have done no specific childcare courses, I have a level 1 kids coaching award for Gaelic football and have worked with children through sport and previous nannying jobs.
I achieved 5A’s and 5Bs at GCSE (A in English and Math) as well as achieving an A* in English, A in religion and B in Spanish at A-level. I currently study law at Newcastle University and aspire to achieve a first when I graduate.

My Availability

Although this is dependant on my university schedule, I am free most evenings after 5pm, I will be able to give more clarity on this within the next fortnight.
