About Me
Hello! I'm a babysitter originally from the New York area. I am in postgraduate university, I am studying international journalism.
I'm looking for something part-time to help fund my education, and overall life in this very expensive city. I'm an energetic babysitter, I love volunteering with kids. I struggled with ADHD as a kid, so I know how tough homework time can be, but I have some classroom teaching experience and would love to help out. I have two cats at home in the States, and have had both small and big dogs growing up. I'm great with all pets and don't mind walking/picking up after family pets!
I think it's important for kids to have fun! Once we finish homework time, I think it's fun to go outside. I've taken kids to check out the local library, look for community events, anything that gets kids out and about rather than sitting inside with an ipad.
My Experience
I have 5+ years of babysitting experience, and 8 months of teaching experience with children ages 9-15. I have worked in special needs classrooms. I also volunteer with special needs high school children in afterschool programs.
I have celiac's disease (wheat allergy) and was a tremendously picky eater as a child. But I'm a great cook, and I'm very confident in my ability to make healthy, picky-eater friendly meals if needed!

This is my schedule for my current semester, which ends in December. After that, my dates and times may change, but I will make sure to keep my schedule as updated as possible and inform you of those changes as soon as I'm made aware of them.
