About Me
I am extremely passionate about teaching and learning. I consider the role of educators pivotal in the academic, social and academic growth of their pupils. As a qualified teacher, I have experience with a varied range of teaching strategies and resources to help pupils fulfil their maximum potential whilst catering to varying needs. Now also a parent, I have been fortunate enough to develop the level of compassion and patience required when working with children. I believe all children should be nurtured through a positive lens, met with kindness and calm.
I offer high quality private one-on-one tuition for English (reading/writing/spelling), Maths, Science, French and Art (all from Primary
up to GCSE level). I also offer private tuition for Biology up to A level.
My Experience
I have approximately 10 years of tutoring experience, and 5 years of teaching experience at an outstanding Junior School in Redbridge. Prior to my career, I was a consistently dedicated pupil and achieved excellently at GCSE, Alevel, and eventually achieved a First Class Honours at UCL with Dean’s List award for my Bachelors.
My Qualifications
GCSEs - 9 A*s and 5 As, including French, triple sciences and statistics, as well as other subjects.
A-level- Maths, French, Biology
BSc Human Sciences (First Class Hons) - University College London (UCL)
PGCE Primary (with Maths Specialism) - QTS awarded in 2015 with Merit
My Availability
I am available after school on all weekdays. I am also flexibly available on weekends. As I also have a family and children to care for, I would appreciate a working relationship where there is some degree of flexibility and understanding.
