My Experience

In 2016 I was employed as full-time nanny during the summer holiday. My hours were 9 hours a day, five times a week. I was looking after 2 children one 8 months the second 2 years of age. My daily responsibilities was to prep three meals a day including snacks. Interact with children by playing music, reading and playing games. Child 8 months was still in diapers so changing diapers was part of my responsibility. From 2018 I was employed by a private nursery as office based staff member. I was based inside the nursery and when the nursery was short-staffed I would be responsible to cover the missing staff. This meant interacting with the children, ensuring safeguarding, help clean up, perform activities, read a book with the children. I was also in the office so I was also directly talking to management and parents. Gaining a wide range of knowledge of first aid, safeguarding, what is expected for the development of the child. From 2021 till 2023 I’ve been with two different families as a babysitter and private tutor. Main duties were to support with homework and strengthen the knowledge and ability to speak English as it was an additional language

DBS certified, First Aid Essentials, (KCSIE),
Anaphylaxis Awareness, and The Prevent Duty Trained
