About Me
I am a 30 year old living in Southville Bristol with my partner. I am originally from Portishead, growing up with mum, dad and 2 older sisters and our dogs. My mum is a LSA so I have always enjoyed being near younger children. I enjoy reading, baking, going for walks and listening to music. I play netball and am part of a choir.
My Experience
I am a qualified primary teacher at an OFSTED rated ‘outstanding’ school and I’ve been teaching since 2019. I have mainly taught in year 6 but I have experience in other year groups as well. As a teacher, I am able to build really important relationships with children, understand their needs and create and differentiate work or tasks to suit them. I have experience with a range of SEN needs, this includes, ASD, ADHD and speech and language needs. I am able to teach maths and English up to year 6 level and have excellent subject knowledge in a range of other areas. My job requires excellent organisation and time keeping skills as well as being that fun and supportive adult that the children need.
