My Requirements

I am looking for someone (with SEN experiance preferably) to befriend my 7 year old boy, Hugo, to take care of him for a couple of hours a day, every so often, maybe once a week or every other week. The goal is to find someone who can create a safe space/friendship with him where he feels comfortable enough and even look forward to going for a few hours a week during school holidays. Hugo is a sweet, loving, Hyperactive and hilariously funny boy, He loves 1-1 attention doing things like playing lego, outside time, chatting about jurassic park, loves animals, deer and dinos especially. He does need constant supervision as he has ADHD and ASD and can be pretty unpredictable and display some challenging behaviours at times.

The goal is to find someone who would be a friend in his eyes, just to have him for a little while every so often so he feels comfortable and has a safe person to go to for when things get a bit too much for him and his siblings. As much as he is so lovely, his behaviours can be quite challenging and for his siblings sometimes (and us) this can be really hard during the school holidays so we feel it would be great to find someone he's excited to go and spend time with.

We're super flexible with times etc, we would prefer if it was just 1-1 really as this would suit Hugo the best so he feels he has a friend rather than going to be with a child minder.

During school holidays we would prefer a few hours 1 or 2 days a week but during term time just a couple of hours every couple of weeks would be fine just to keep him feeling settled and comfortable.
