Hola! I'm Yolanda but children normally call me Yoli.
I'm originally from Barcelona but I have been living in Scotland for more than 5 years.
I speak Catalan, Spanish, English and a bit of Italian.
I love crafts, nature and outdoor play, cooking, storytelling, play all sort of games, singing nursery rhymes in different languages and play my yellow ukelele.
My Experience
With over 17 years of dedicated service in childcare, I have worked with a diverse range of learners, spanning from 1 year old to nearly adulthood. For example, as a Primary School Teacher in Spain or an Early Years Practitioner in various nurseries across Fife, Dundee and Perthshire. I'm also a Bookbug session leader and I have been introducing Spanish to the children via games, songs and stories.
Fully PVG checked and registered with the GTCS/SSSC.
My Qualifications
- BEd degree in Primary Education. Specialized in Arts & IT. Dissertation about programmable robots "Beebots".
- HND Childhood practice at SCQF level 8 with placement of 3 months in Italy.
- AMI Montessori Assistant (3-6 years).
- Bookbug session leader.
My Availability
I'm a nanny of two different Spanish speaker families (Tuesday) and I a part time EYP in a nursery (Thursday & Friday). See below my availability:

Fees are dependant on distance, number of children involved and number of hours worked.
