Hi, my name is Robert, but most people choose to shorten it to Rob (either is fine!)
I moved to Cardiff 3 years ago having graduated from university, with a degree in Primary Education. I love being outdoors (rain or shine!) and will often occupy my free time by taking my bicycle out for a ride. It has been noted on many occasions that I quickly form positive relationships with children in my care due to my calm, patient and nurturing demeanour.
Through my time working with children, I have developed a love for all manner of tasks, from cooking to craft, puzzles to painting, reading to running around!
As a teacher, I am also more than happy to support your child with any schoolwork, to support or enhance their learning journey.
My Experience
Since moving to Cardiff, I have 3 years of professional experience working with children with a wide range of emotional and neurological needs, from ages 3 to 11. Before that, I began my work with children at the age of 16, through the Scout Association.
Through working with children, I have discovered that being part of a child's life is one of the most rewarding things I can do.
My Qualifications
I have a BA in Primary Education (2:1 in 2021), leading to Qualified Teacher Status.
I am on the DBS update service, due to my work with children within a professional capacity.
My Availability
Due to my work as a Primary School teacher, I am available evenings and weekends during term time, and available full time during school holidays.
