About Me
I prefer to be called Rekha, I am registered childminder with Ofsted and agency, I am a mother of two grown up, we live at Waltham Cross 5mins from bus and train station with all green surrounding nearby parks, local shop and malls. I live in a 3 bedroom Maisonette. downstairs, I have a big playroom with toilet facilities and large kitchen where your child is safe and secure and happy to enjoy the enabling environment. I offer free meal, snacks and drink. I am an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) trained. My aim is to engage your child with a variety of activities and resources that align with EYFS Framework. Your child will learn all 7 areas of EYFS curriculum with tools and resources such as educational toys, books, sensory play, art and design/coloring, baking muffin together and walk to the park, joining local community library and events such as Murpet show, animation Disney show, and drama to make learning fun and interactive. I also offer funded childcare. I speak English, French, Hindi, Filipino (tagalog).
My Experience
My experience working with babies and toddlers in nursery and working as teaching assistant in primary school since 2010 with 5yrs to 7yrs old children help me to be part of their growth with fun activities outdoors and indoors. I have 3 years experience working with children with disability who needed extra care with personal care and NG tube feeding care.i acheive paediatric First aid certificate, safeguarding childcare and have full DBS of myself and my household. I always have passion working with children and I believe that early years childhood is a crucial stage to learn and develop their skilI and I enjoyed being a part of their growth, keeping them safe and healthy in an enabling environment which was an interesting experience for me. And this experience lead me to establish my own childcare setting in waltham cross.

My Availability
My availability is from October 2026 Monday to Friday from 08:00-18:00 providing day-to-day care from home to home nursery environment full of love, laughter, fun and lots of learning and I also offer pickup and drop-off your child before and after school. I offer occasional babysitter.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
I charge £7.50 per hour and should there be any overtime my fee is £2.00 per hour.

I couldn't be happier with Rekha! As a first-time parent, I was naturally nervous, but she was so knowledgeable, caring, and reassuring. Her genuine love for children shines through. I feel incredibly lucky to have found someone so warm and attentive to care for my little one. Highly recommend!
