About Me
I’m an athlete signed to The North Face, where I get to merge my love for adventure with my work. As a rock climbing coach, I enjoy helping people at all levels improve their skills, whether they’re new to climbing or seasoned pros. I’ve spent years climbing both indoors and outdoors, which has shaped how I approach coaching.
On the side, I’m also a UI/UX Designer, creating intuitive digital experiences. I’ve had the opportunity to write for GQ and Men’s Health, where I share my thoughts on health, fitness, and everything that ties into the life of an athlete.
I started Clmbxr, a climbing community that’s all about making the sport more inclusive and accessible. We’ve taken a bunch of international climbing trips, with our latest in Fontainebleau, France, and it’s been amazing to see how the community has grown over time.
When I’m not climbing, I’m probably playing tennis or table tennis — I’m super competitive and love taking part in tournaments. I’ve also got a strong background in health and fitness and am first aid trained, so safety is always a priority in whatever I’m doing.
My Experience
I’ve spent several years teaching English, and I’ve found that combining sports with learning is a game-changer. Whether it’s using teamwork in tennis to explain communication or climbing to teach persistence, blending physical activity with language lessons makes things more engaging and memorable for students. It’s been a fun and effective way to break the traditional classroom mold and keep learning fresh and interactive.
