Hello all! My name is Shona. I’m a fun and extremely loving 23 year old who has always had a passion for looking after little ones.
I live in East London and I’m currently a part time nanny for a lovely family of 2 children in Wanstead.
My Experience
I have nearly 10 years babysitting experience looking after children as young as 5 months to 16+ years.
Previous to the Nanny role I’m now in, I was a full time childminding assistant for nearly 4 years at a wonderful setting based in Wanstead where we cared for children aged between 9 months to 11 years. I left this role in October of 2023 to pursue a career in nannying.
I’m up to date with my paediatric first aid training and have a full clean DBS. I’m also safeguard trained!
My Qualifications
Although I do not obtain a level 3 childcare qualification, I have a level 2 qualification in child development (GCSE level) and I have YEARS of experience under my belt. What I may lack in a qualification I can assure you I make up for in experience! I truly believe that having experience behind you in some ways can be more beneficial than a qualification.
My Availability
As I work part time with my current nanny family Tuesday-Thursday I’m currently on the look out for a local family to join on a Monday and Friday either full day care on both days or afterschool care on both days.
