About Me
My name is Florence and I am Ofsted registered childminder. I live in Twydall, Elmfield to be precise and I have three lovely children aged, 16, 12, and 2 years old. I am an accredited childminder who can offer fully funded places for children from under 2, 2-3, and 4 years old.
Within my setting, I create a safe and engaging environment where all children can feel comfortable, have fun, and also aid their development in a positive manner by focusing on the key areas of children development. I have a large garden and my care facility is child friendly where they are allowed to enjoy a number of activities, from messy play, painting, colouring, and numerous outdoor activities. We are also in close proximity to local playgrounds and Twydall library which is full of activities that children can enjoy on our day outings.
My Experience
I have three children of my own and therefore I am more than confidence in my skills. I also have over 12 years’ experience in health and social care in both NHS and private setting, in children, young adult, and elderly care. My area of specialisation and training includes, ADHD, Autism, as well as speech and language difficulties
I currently mind children from under 2 to 13 and upwards.
My Qualifications
Full paediatric first aid
Level 3 childcare course
Level 3 safeguarding children
Food hygiene and safety
Fire safety awareness certified
Ofsted registered
My Availability
My hours are 7.00am – 6.00pm
Monday to Friday. All year round
Pick up and Drop off is also available from local schools
I do not provide overnight and weekend service, and I also don’t work on bank holidays
