About Me
I am a qualified Primary, Secondary and special needs teacher. I am currently teaching English GCSE and A-level. In the evenings, I teach pupils on a one-to-one basis, from P4 to Upper Sixth. I work with younger pupils in numeracy, literacy and spelling. I have provision for pupils with dyslexia, ADHD and autism. I prepare pupils for AQE, GCSE English, English lit and Maths. and A-levels English and English Lit. I work for the pupil not the parent. I believe in building a child's confidence and working in a stress free environment, allowing your child to grow and develop and enjoy their learning experience. Confidence is the foundation for learning potential. If you entrust your child's learning to me, I promise to dedicate my time and effort into helping them as I would my own children. As a parent of four, I understand the stress that meeting your child's individual education needs, can present. My Experience
I have been teaching and tutoring for 15 years. I have worked with over 350 pupils on a one-to-one basis and helped over 150 pupils obtain their desired AQE/GL transfer test results. I work across Primary/Secondary/Special needs schools. I am a full-time teacher and a tutor in the evenings.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in English and Media. A PGCE in Primary and Post Primary with QTS. I am also a qualified special needs teacher, working with children from ks1 to ks4. I specialise in dyslexia and ADHD tuition. Patience is the one key qualification a teacher/tutor requires.
My Availability
I am available after schools. As a full-time teacher, I generally start lessons from 4pm onwards, allowing me to complete my school duties before commencing with one-to-one lessons from home.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £25.00 per hour
My fee includes both a one-to-one hourly session with homework provided to reinforce learning and all transfer papers where appropriate. I charge £25/£30 depending upon the tutoring required. Please contact me to discuss further.
