About Me
My name is Nicole and I have a (BA Hons) Childhood Studies degree and over twenty years experience in the Childcare sector, including as an OFSTED registered Nanny and Childminder.
What makes me a great Nanny is simply that I adore children - I get huge job satisfaction seeing children grow, develop and reach their full potential whilst in my care. I have excellent references from my previous employers.
My Experience
I worked for eight years as a Nanny in London, New York and Florida - working for high net worth and celebrity families. I have a wealth of experience working with newborns to teenagers, getting babies into a routine, weaning, sleep training, potty training, behaviour management and much more. I have done night nannying, nanny shares, proxy parenting and travel nannying. I have outstanding references from my previous employers.
In 2012 I became a Stay At Home Mother to my own three lovely children. For several years I became an OFSTED registered Childminder and ran a Childminding business from home. I am very experienced in implementing the EYFS with 0-5 year olds, organising a fun schedule of play, arts & crafts, baking, educational activities, music and activities out of the home. I have taught many children phonics, to read and write, times tables and other maths skills.
Now that my own children are all at school, I am returning to my original passion - Nannying. For the last 9 months I took on a temporary p/t Nanny position with a baby girl aged 5-14 months, which I absolutely loved. It was only temporary due to her being on a waiting list for a nursery place. Now that this has come to an end I am seeking a new family.

1 A/S Level
10 GCSEs
Booked to renew my Paediatric First Aid training on 19/10/2024. Currently updating my OFSTED registration and getting a fresh DBS.
My Availability
I am available in the Chelmsford area for:
- A part-time Nanny position
- Ad-hoc / occasional Childcare
- Regular babysitting
My ideal hours would be 2/3 days per week between 8am-5.30pm. Alternatively I would be happy to do up to 5 days per week 9am-3pm.
Unfortunately I am unable to do just before and after school care, as I have my own school aged children. They are happy to go to before/after school clubs on my working days but I would need to have paid hours 9-3 to balance the cost of putting my own children into childcare.
