About Me
Hi we are the Frost family with a family of five with three children all primary age based on the outskirts of Chester & Wrexham. Both Parents work full time and one parent works overseas for 2/3 weeks a month. My Partner is a primary teacher and we have limited support from family members who help with the children for school drop off and pick ups. We are looking for someone to help us with before and afterschool care. This would consist of between 10 to 20 hours a week for the school year until July 2025. We are flexible as my partner is off one day in the week and both grand parents can support on certain days. We feel we are looking for a consistent person to support our Autistic daughter with her routine in getting ready for school and drop off with collection. Unfortunately the school can not offer us a place for her in before and afterschool care due to staffing issues so we are looking for private support from a childcare professional who has experience of working with children with ASD.
My Requirements
We are looking for a childcare professional that can support with pre and post school care. This would involve daily travel to and from the family home and to be in the home before my partner leaves for work and returns from work. We are flexible on days and open to discussion for the right person. This would also involve getting the children ready for school and drop them off plus pick them up and a car is available if needed. Our eldest will walk to and from school with friends just weather dependent. Our youngest will need support in getting ready but is quiet active and forward in getting himself ready. Our daughter with ASD will need support with getting dressed and encouragement to eat her breakfast. All children are dropped off at reception where a handover will take place pre and post school. The school will provide support in the hand over and getting the children in and out of the car.
There may be occasions where daily routines might be overwhelming and a later start is required for school that could be between 09:30 and 10am. We would like to welcome any applications that have experience of ASD.
Please note that on the time table of requirements this can be a flexible option to work with Grandparents or if this works for you happy to have all times offered.
