About Me
I can get the children ready for school, prepare breakfast, make their lunch, drop them off at school, clean and do laundry, pick the children up from school. I am able to do arts and crafts with them and teach them to write, read, bake etc. I can also help with homework.
My Experience
I have looked after children from ages 3-14 at various times. I looked after 12 children at a home in Peru for 5 months, from 5 years to 14 years: waking them up, getting them ready for school, cooking meals, doing laundry, teaching English and putting the younger ones to bed. I’ve also helped to mind children 5 years and older from time-to-time when we lived in Germany recently from 2020 to 2023.
My Qualifications
I have no formal qualifications, only experience. Please see above for an outline of my experience. I also have experience as a TEFL teacher, and am able to develop language skills with children. I have a TEFL certification. I am happy to get a basic DBS check and you are welcome to obtain an advanced one should you require it. I can provide references on request for the child-minding I’ve done.
I have mostly worked in office/ administration jobs and am looking to use my time to make a difference in the lives of others hence my change of direction. Happy to meet so you can get to know me more.
