About Me
I am 1 of 5 children, being the 2nd eldest I have always helped out with the younger ones. I grew up in Milton Keynes. My husband and I are Jehovah's Witnesses and we volunteer 50 hours a month to teach people. I've worked with children since i was 17 years old professionally and have done babysitting since the age of 14 years old.
Children are wonderful! I enjoy seeing them explore the world for the first time and asking you to explain the world to them and seeing how they enjoy nature and what that brings warms my heart. I love teaching and allowing children to do become independent and grow up knowing variety of skills is something I take pride in.
My Experience
I have worked at primary schools for 12+ years. I looked after children aged 3-11 years old where my main responsibilities have been providing the children with various activities to play with whilst in my care, feed them a light snack. Sometimes we would bake cakes or biscuits and in appropriate weather we could play outside.
I have been a Teaching Assistant for 3 years supporting variety of needs the children may have and work closely with children who have ADD, ADHD, Autism and speech and language needs.
