My name is Aaliya and I am 18 years old (19 in December). I would describe myself as friendly and chatty and children quickly feel comfortable with me. I am both a great playmate and I enjoy games and fun, as well as being academic and able to teach young children. I have a great enthusiasm for reading and learning which I love to share with young people. Cooking is another activity I enjoy and I would enjoy to do this for (and with) children.
My Experience
I have been babysitting for more than three years and have looked after children from the ages of 2 - 12. I have a very large family and as one of the older children I am often asked to play and take care of the younger ones. I have babysat for three different families in paid professional capacity and can provide references. Additionally, I have some waitressing training and work well in a formal setting.
My Qualifications
I have just completed my A levels in which I got AAA. One of these subjects was psychology where I studied child development, increasing my understanding of children and equipping me with excellent childcare skills . By learning about the cognitive and emotional development of children I am able to understand your child better and can tailor activities and engagement to their needs.
