My Experience

Baby sitter
Private, Civitanova Marche (MC)
March 2023 - September 2024
During my career as a home babysitter, I provided care to two children of a family from Civitanova Marche, the first child was 4 years old and the youngest child was 1 month old, from 8.30am to 7.30pm from Monday to Friday.
I immediately created a routine: I helped the 4-year-old boy with the morning preparation for school and looked after the little girl, then proceeded to help the mother with the domestic tasks of tidying up the children’s games and rooms. I took care of picking up the child from school and accompanying him to extracurricular events (sports, English lessons, parties).
I assisted and contributed to the good growth of the children during my 18-month stay. I took part in preparing meals while weaning the little girl, and preparing dinner for both children every day.
I looked after the couple of children together, especially in the afternoon, offering games, activities, outings to the park and teaching letters, numbers and writing for the 4 year old.
I have developed an important empathy with children, which has helped me to be able to create situations of calm, relaxation, play and fun, concentration, depending on the required situation.

Educator

September 2021 - February 2023
During this work experience, I held the role of educator of children aged 4 to 10. For the entire school term, I managed an afternoon class of ten children.
I had the opportunity to take part in internal training courses, which educated me in a teaching that considers independence and freedom of choice fundamental and aims to encourage a sense of responsibility and awareness in the child.
I learned to understand my emotions and those of the children, discovering together which tools and methods to use to welcome them and not repress them; to interact with them, controlling my emotions.
I learned the need to act differently depending on the situation and the age group of the child.
I have developed skills in helping with homework in elementary classes, humanities and scientific subjects.
I also shared moments of play, fun, drawing, painting, manual skills, outings to the educational farm, swimming pool and preparatory games with the children. Handling, especially with modeling clay. Cooking activities, such as washing, cutting, kneading, decorating, mashing.
I also held lessons, in the form of activities for adults and games for the little ones, on fashion, thanks to my qualification. We experimented with drawing, manipulating fabrics, using sewing tools, to arrive at the final creation of a wearable garment.

Summer Camp
Ludoteca “Il grillo parlante”, Sant’Elpidio a Mare (FM)
June/July 2022
During the summer I took part in the “summer center” project of the association I worked for. In this environment I worked with children aged between 6 and 10.
I managed a group of 15 children with determination, accuracy and empathy, offering summer games, trips to the pool and the sea, free play and sports.

My Qualifications

First aid certificate + PBLSD
With the adult and pediatric first aid course, I learned the basic skills in case of danger, in domestic and non-domestic environments.
The PBLSD (Pediatric Basic Life support and Defibrillation) course allows you to learn the skills necessary to manage cardiac arrest and foreign body suffocation of pediatric victims.
