About Me
Hello, I'm Kia. I'm 20 years old and hoping to find work helping families with childcare. I am a fully qualified early years practitioner and have had 4 years work experience in nursery's around Aberdeen. I am montessori trained, I am currently learning ASL and use it in my day to day with the children I work with.
I have many neices and nephews aged newborn to 10 that I babysit often.
I've also just come back from americamp, a programme working at a kids summer camp in america for three months. This gave me experience working with older children too as the children there were 3 till 17. I learnt so much about diffrent approaches to childcare that wasn't just in a learning facility, and taught me alot about how to relate to the kids and how to keep them happy, entertained and how to form strong friendships and boundaries with the kiddos I worked with.
My Experience
I am a qualified early years practitioner in aberdeen and have 4 years work experience in diffrent nursery's around the city with children aged 2 to 5. I also have a large family with lots of neices and nephews aged newborn to 10 which I take care of and babysit very regularly. I have also been in america for 3 months at a summer camp where I worked with children aged 3 to 17 at the waterfront on a lake. I am also a qualified lifeguard and fully first aid trained through my job etc

AlsoThrough my job I am trained with autism outreach scotland and have experience working with additional needs children.

I'm available weekdays mostly and can offer occasional weekends.
