Hello! My name is Maria and I am a 23 year old international student from India currently residing in Bolton. Coming from a big family, I have always been around children of various ages from infants to teenagers. Despite having no formal work experience, my close involvement with my family has allowed me to master the art of child care. It seems children are drawn to my warm, friendly personality as I'm often told that kids take a liking to me almost instantly. When I'm not busy with school or spending time with kids I love being creative and active. Singing, dancing, cooking, baking, painting, and running errands are just some of the activities that I enjoy. I am also a professional home baker and owned a business back in my hometown. Matching the enthusiasm of children is no problem for me! I am eager to become a part of your family dynamic, providing nurturing care and friendship to your child in the comfort of your own home. My Experience
As for my responsibilities, I am comfortable with a wide range of tasks including helping with homework, meal preparation, and running errands. I also understand and respect special dietary needs for children. While I am well equipped to care for children of all ages, I prefer to work with one or two children at a time so I can give them my undivided attention and care. As part of my education I have acquired formal training in First Aid and CPR ensuring the utmost safety of your child. As an older sibling I carry a lot of responsibilities and first hand experience with autistic and special children. SEN Experienced. To me all children are miracles sent by God to teach us invaluable lessons in life and to feel and understand unconditional love and affection. I previously volunteered with cancer research, autistic groups and camps for children to help them learn skills, speech therapy, learning to engage with activities etc.....I currently volunteer with the A world UK CIC, Cancer research UK, ST. Patrick's Church and organize charity events to help raise awareness and funds.
My Qualifications
Bachelors in Dental technology from Saveetha Dental college, Chennai, India
Currently a Masters Student at the University of Bolton.
My Availability
My availability is quite fluid with mornings and afternoons on Thursdays through Sundays and evenings during the weekends being most convenient. I am seeking a part time, live out arrangement and I'm excited to begin work on September 30 2024 . I can make any necessary arrangements and work around my schedule to help support the families i work with in any way possible. Maria has been babysitting my 2-year old son for months now. It took me a while to find a suitable babysitter and when my son met Maria, they clicked immediately. He is always happy and cheerful when Maria is around. She plays with him and always affirmations him which my son enjoys alot in his learning journey.
Maria is a kind gentle soul and always responds in time. There are moments I needed her help urgently and she was kind enough to come over. She is well organised and keeps time. She communicates well with my son and patient with him, which is something that was so important to us.
Maria is more than a babysitter to our family, and has now become like a friend to us. I would highly recommend her for any babysitting jobs. You can trust her with your kids and they would be in safe hands!
