My Experience

I was a 1:1 tutor in both maths and English from the age 14-18 at Kumon welwyn Hatfield. I begun as a tutor for kids from 3-8 and then progressed as junior supervisor which entailed ensuring every student completed their work in good time for turnover for the next round of student every half hour , were tended to if necessary, focussed and disciplined during their lessons. in between that job I was a standing-in dance teaching assistant at my dance school on and off/when I was needed. the kids ranged from 3-10 (different classes but overall) and I had to make sure no one felt left behind in learning the routine, help the kids with a move if needed, and help with toilet runs!
then when I moved to university I became a 1:1 music tutor for a student on the spectrum (ADHD) once a week- teaching the child a general good sense of musicality but mainly focussed on singing. due to financial circumstances on the parents' part, that opportunity fell through after a few months and so I began nannying from 20-21 for two different families five days a week (family one two days a week and the other, three). this was mainly the after school run (accept on the odd weekend job and holidays where I would often do the full day). I had to collect the kids from school, drop them off to clubs when needed, help with homework, cook for the kids and get them ready for bed and often put them to bed also. between my time as a nanny, I was also taking up the odd babysitting jobs here and there with mostly school aged children.

GCSE's all passed (add GCSE's aside from mandatory: drama, music, history and Spanish)
A levels passed (English literature, Music and Business BTEC)
University honours degree passed (BA Honours degree in Songwriting)

anytime any weekday but open to weekends also.

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

live out: £15 per hour
live in: av. £550 per week but open to negotiate.
